It Doesn’t Come In A Jar (Road Trip Day 5)

Where: Portland, ME to Waterford, ME to Montréal, QC, Canada
How far: 296 miles (1,053 cumulative)
How long: 5 hours and 48 minutes (20:02 cumulative)

day4

Calvin slept all morning, way longer than he normally does.

We started the morning off by taking the Casco Bay Cruise around the islands near Portland, ME.  People live out on a bunch of random islands and have to get their mail delivered there by boat, so we rode on one of the actual mailboats.

The mailboats also pick up their trash:

And the area has a 10 foot difference between high tide and low tide:

After the cruise, we hopped in the car and started on one of our longer drives.  Stephanie’s childhood dreams were fulfilled along the way…

We also went through New Hampshire…

Wow! How on earth are you guys managing a sustained road trip with a 7-month old in tow? With one of my own, I'm impressed!!! You make it look like fun. :)
