Where's Waldo?

Remember those books, Where's Waldo? Well this video is kind of like that, and I'm pretty sure the white kid's name has to be something close to Waldo.

OK, so he's pretty easy to find. He's also constantly looking at the other kids to see what they are doing and can't really keep up with the dance despite his best efforts.

This reminds me of Steve Martin in the Jerk. Regardless, the moral of the story is, white men can't jump or dance vote however you like, and think of these awesome 7th graders when you do so.

Flat Stanleyella comes for a visit

Luke and I had the privilege of taking Flat Stanleyella around Williamsburg yesterday. She had a great time seeing Benedict Arnold capture Williamsburg...

She also loved seeing the Capitol of Williamsburg, where men gathered in 1776 to talk about independence from the British.

Then we took Flat Stanleyella to the beach to work on her tan, she got to see the beautiful fall leaves that you don't get in Texas.

Her next visit is to Brazil....I haven't even been to Brazil.

Ominousosity (Ah-men-nis-oss-city)

At first glance, you probably don't think this picture looks very ominous.

If you don't think it looks ominous, you are wrong. In light of recent events the ominousosity of said image is undeniable. View the next image at your discretion, as it may not be appropriate for younger viewers.

That's right, Marbury vs. Madison, Luke vs. Darth, Mustard vs. Mayonnaise, and Alien vs. Predator now share the all-time-greatest-battles arena with a new conflict - Wal-Mart Shopping Cart vs. Altima Bumper. As you can see, there was a clear loser in this battle. This happened while Stephanie was shopping today. We're pretty sure the culprit was this guy:

Yup, that's him, Jeremy Freedman. In other news, Mio just released a Knight Rider GPS that gives directions with the voice of KITT (Mr. Feeney). If you're in that circle of friendship that knows me really well, you know that I watched just about every episode of that show on daytime TV reruns multiple times when I was little.

You can buy me one for Christmas at I'm not joking. I really want one, $269 on Amazon. Please.

Uncle Sam saving me money

Interesting article:

AP: Airlines could save $10 billion a year with GPS

My favorite part is the story about "an FAA initiative called STARS, which was launched a decade ago to give controllers advanced, multicolored radar screens. The project missed deadlines, went hundreds of millions of dollars over budget and had to be scaled down."

My $150 Garmin that I use for work has whiz bang GPS technology and a fancy color screen. I understand this is an oversimplification and not a fair comparison, but can we really as a country waste that much money putting color screens and GPS into commision for our airline system?

The next time you fly, you'll now know why you don't get a pillow and they want to charge you for checking luggage, eating peanuts, and drinking a coke.
