Well if you know me at all, you know I’ve been obsessed with decorating the mantel. I think it’s because I didn’t have one in Virginia :)
Here’s a little something I made to welcome home our little girl (of course I didn’t take the picture when the balloons were full!)
I got the idea for these 2 pieces of art off of pinterest. If you haven’t checked out that website yet, I highly recommend it!
I made the baby stats subway art using a 12x12 canvas and my Silhouette. Basically I cut the stats out of vinyl, put them on the canvas, painted 3 coats of pink over the whole thing, and peeled the vinyl up after the paint dried. Cute huh?? I made the Bible verse art in photoshop and printed it with a coupon code I had for shutterfly :)
Luke’s coworkers sent us some cookies from Tiff’s Treats! We had chocolate chippers, oatmeal raisin and sugar cookies. I ate all the chocolate chip ones myself :)
Here’s the bow that was on our door at the hospital and we transferred it to our front door. And you can see my new spring wreath that I made after my Easter peep wreath was such a failure, haha.
I promise I’ll post pics of Lucy Kate’s room sometime…it’s still in the works! :)
