We knew it was out there and finally “found” it (at least thought about it) yesterday. There is a wonderful Expectant Mother or Parents w/ Infants sign outside the Ukrops grocery store. Ukrops isn’t open on Sundays, so we had the lot to ourselves for a little photo shoot :)
According to one of Fur Fur’s business classes, Ukrops is one of the top companies to work for in the US. Apparently they have a great work environment and customer service (and they’re not open on Sundays which implies they may be a Christian company too!) They’re a little more on the upscale in prices, so I don’t shop there too often, but have had a good experience when I do :)

Little Birdie in her Nest
That’s right, I am definitely a nester right now. I’ve been crafting a bunch, trying to buy more of the stuff we need, and getting the baby room ready. Luke calls me a bird in a nest :)
Here’s a little project I did today where I recovered the rocking chair pillow to match the baby bedding material.
Before… After…notice that it’s reversible!
I wanted 2 sets of each sheet so I could cut one up for fabric! I’m thinking of making this for the walls with the fabric too.

Williamsburg Baby Shower!
I had my church baby shower this morning at Rachel’s house. She so cutely decorated the place with browns, blues, oranges & of course elephants, so here’s a few of the pics for you…
We played a game where I carried around a tray of baby things and gave people time to study what was on the tray for a quiz.
Little did they know that the quiz was actually about my appearance! What did my dress look like, what kind of earrings was I wearing, which finger looks different than the others :) It was really fun and really mean!! No one was looking at me as I walked around, but people did pretty well I will say!
Time for presents :) and of course Jeni got me a cute little boy elephant!
Rachel was my note taker and kept saying “that’s so cute!” to everything, so when I opened the (breast pump), what did she say?? That’s right… “that’s so cute!” Haha, way too funny!
Chelsea & Me :)
Small group girls…minus Rachel T!! we forgot to take the pic before she left :(
Liz & Me :)
This was our great idea to put Abby on my belly…but it pretty much just came out super awkward! :)
So we tried again!
And here’s Sherrie & Me :) Sherrie was my amazing photographer!! Thank you!
It was such a fun shower and I was super thankful for everyone coming and blessing our little family so much!

AMAZING Blu-Ray deal!!
But you must act soon (like today or tomorrow). I heard about this deal earlier in the week, but didn’t get a chance to try it out until today, and didn’t want to post about it if it didn’t work :)
So if you’re wanting Up and Monsters, Inc. on blu-ray, here’s what you do:
Print out these coupons: $10 off Up and $8 off Monsters, Inc. and $10/2 Target coupon when you by both.
Then take your Best Buy Ad to Target (b/c they price match now…at least mine does) and show them that Monsters, Inc. is $18.99 there (Monsters, Inc. is $26.99 and Up is $19.99 at Target).
So your total will be $18.99 + $19.99 - $10 - $8 - $10 = $10.98 for both movies! (You probably will have to check out at the Customer Service counter)
And if that deal wasn’t amazing enough, submit for 2 of these 3 rebates:
- UP = Get $5 back by mail WYB UP and (2) participating Kernel Seasons product. (Exp 2/28/10)
- UP = Get $5 back by mail WYB UP and (2) Birds Eye Viola meals (Exp 2/28/10)
- UP = Get $4 back by mail WYB UP and 1 Ronzoni, Creamette, Ronzoni Smart Taste, Ronzoni, San Giorgio, American Beauty, Prince or Skinner pasta. (Exp 1/15/10)
Note: These rebates not only allow for copies of the receipt, but they also just want one of the proof of purchase tabs on the back of the blu-ray (it has 2) and it DOES NOT require the UPC!
And check out www.coupons.com for deals on the Kernel Seasons, Viola & Ronzoni.
So after 2 rebates, you spend only $0.98 to $1.98 for both movies. Wow, now that’s a steal! :) Even if you don’t want to deal with the rebates, it’s still a great deal. The coupons and rebates don’t expire tomorrow, just the Best Buy Ad price match and the prices at Target, so hurry for the best deal!
One more thing :) Both blu-rays come with a DVD copy of the movie too, so you don’t even have to have a blu-ray player yet to take advantage of the deal!

Harris Teeter Trips
Yes I said trips :) They only let you use 20 coupons per day per household, so I’ve had to go more than once to stock up on my deals. I know you must be thinking I’m a crazy, but HT is only a couple of miles from my house now. Opening night doesn’t count because it was just a fun time for samples (and I bought the days limit of cokes). And Sunday night I went with Sara to help her get her “big” trip done with Abby. And I’ve combined HT trips with other outings for Wed & Thurs.
Trip 1: Tuesday = Opening NightRegular Price Total = $24.16
Sale & Coupon Price Total = $3.16 (cokes were $1.99 and we got a $5 giftcard for the grand opening)
Savings of $21.00 or 87%!
Trip 2: Wednesday Regular Price Total = $57.81
Sale & Coupon Price Total = $16.43
Savings of $41.38 or 72%!
Trip 3: ThursdayRegular Price Total = $26.51
Sale & Coupon Price Total = $3.36
Savings of $23.15 or 87%!
Trip 4: SundayRegular Price Total = $16.59
Sale & Coupon Price Total = $0.16
Savings of $16.43 or 99%!
Trip 5: MondayRegular Price Total = $143.73
Sale & Coupon Price Total = $44.50
Savings of $99.23 or 69%!
Regular Price Total of all days = $268.80
Sale & Coupon Price Total of all days = $67.61
Savings of $201.19 or 75%
I was trying to stock up on cokes for my family’s Dec. trip, since they are all coke-aholics, and cokes were on sale for $1.99. I also tried to get some staples for baking and casserole making (so we’ll have some foods in the freezer ready to eat when baby comes).

8 Months!
That’s right, I’m officially 8 months pregnant now, less than 5 weeks (and almost 30 days) to go…crazy. The craziest thing is that my waist now measures 37”….AHHH!! Luke likes to tell me I’m fatter than him now :)
My dad let me take back their Digital SLR camera from the TX trip for fun baby & preggo pics. Luke was being a cute little professional yesterday afternoon taking these shots :) We went to our church for the first few, then to a random pier we came across on William & Mary’s campus for the last ones.
Baby boy is still growing (and getting stronger I might add, we don’t want a whimpy boy!). While I was in TX I noticed that he started hiccupping where I can feel it, and now he does it probably everyday. It’s a funny feeling, like a bunch of little jabs every couple of seconds. Sometimes he keeps me up at night, but at least I can get some HP7 reading done then :)
I went to our “Infant Care” class on Thursday where we watched a very detailed video of all things baby, from how to give him a sponge bath to what the poop should look like, haha kind of gross but helpful I thought! Luke couldn’t go with me b/c he was in Maryland for a work trip, but don’t worry, he has “Rookie Dads” class this Thursday where I’m sure he’ll be learning a lot!
According to www.parents.com, baby boy is 20-20.5” long, 5.5 lbs, and is about the size of a throw pillow….and at 37 weeks (less than 2 weeks away) he’ll be considered full term, and I don’t start childbirth classes until next Monday!!
Well that’s a quick update on mommy & baby…I might try to post weekly belly shots until the big day! Oh and this Saturday is our church baby shower, so I’ll post baby room pics after that :)
Telling Jennifer
Later on they told Jennifer by bringing up Father of the Bride Part II on the screen as opposed to American Idol:

Total of Transaction 2 before sales & coupons = $49.86
Total of Transaction 2 after sales, coupons, $15 Catalina from T1, tax & “green bags” –> $11.82, and the $15 didn’t print out, so I went to Customer Service and they just credited my card the $15 which is way better than having Farm Fresh money!

TARGET DEALS…
Right now at Target, all the Halloween candy is 75% off, making everything SUPER cheap! If you think you need more candy, then head over for this great deal (it might even go cheaper the longer you wait). I know I said we only had 3 trick-or-treaters and a ton of left over candy, but it was all chocolate stuff and Luke really likes the fruity kinds (so I got him a present!). I thought I could use these chocolates for cookie baking since Thanksgiving/Christmas is coming up fast! Here’s a run down on the deals I got:
- Sour Patch/Swedish Fish - $6.99 –> $1.74
- Hot Tamales/Mike & Ike - $6.99 –> $1.74

Original total = $75.44
Total after coupons & sale = $14.74!
Wow, now that’s a STEAL…That’s a savings of $60.70 or 80%!! I also noticed that I missed a Starburst/Skittles coupon where I could’ve saved $2 more. So make sure you stock up on your Target Qs before heading over for your deals!

That’s right, Harris Teeter has finally come to Williamsburg!! I am so excited :) Tonight was the grand opening, so Sara, Abby & I headed over there for some free samples!
This week they’re tripling coupons up to $0.99, which will make for some pretty sweet deals! Jenny over at Southern Savers made a great list of free and cheap deals…If there’s a HT near you, you might want to check it out!
More Fun Beaumont Pics
My sister just posted these on Facebook, so I thought I’d post them here :)
My doctor cousin Jason busted out his stethoscope for us to hear baby boy’s heart beat!! It was pretty quiet though (ole Trix’s 51 year old ears didn’t work for her :) ), but Jen, Laura & I heard it!Here’s after Luke surprised me!
Here’s the Warner Fam at the dinner party.
And here’s Lukey reading to Lil’ A and Clarky before bedtime…he’s gonna be such a great daddy!
