Well we headed out for the Lonestar State this afternoon and stopped at a rest stop in NC for some feeding and stretching. The gps initially says we’ll get to Paradise, TX at 10:41am Friday morning…we’ll see.

Here’s a new game Calvin and I have been playing.  He seems to love it.  Pardon the video quality, it was taken on Zac’s phone.

Mallrats

If you know me you know how much I love the mall.  I used to like going to the mall a little bit more than I like going to the dentist.  Dr. Rubin’s office started looking a lot better when The Sharper Image went out of business.

If as an American citizen, I can’t go into a 200,000-square-foot-air-conditioned tribute to my right to shop, and sit for as long as I like in a $3,500 dollar massage chair that I will never, ever, in my wildest dreams purchase, and be mesmerized by a clock that displays time in midair using a stick that swings frantically back and forth, and watch ridiculous promotional videos about the benefits of anti-snoring pillows, then the mall is just not for me.

Luckily, I discovered Brookstone today, which bumps the mall back up to “bearable” status, and I made Stephanie take a picture in the super awesome shoulder massager.  (The scalp massager would have undid her hairdo.)

Beach Bums

Our friend Zac had a last minute trip up to Virginia for work so we got to hang out with him this weekend.  We went to the beach and braved the chilly weather.

Calvin was super excited to see the ocean.

Stephanie of course froze to the core in about 2 and half minutes, so the beach trip was short lived.  But well worth the trip for this picture:

Hidey Ho Neighbor

Calvin invited his friends Danny, Alex, and Xander over to play on Saturday.  They live next door and had a ball playing with our little guy.

Calvin also helped me dominate at UNO Attack.

Saturday Morning Tummy Time

We woke up to a nice sunny day this morning and spent some time hanging out and giving Calvin a chance to show off his muscles again…
