Weekend in Houston
We made a last minute decision to go visit Poppy and Trix in Houston last weekend. We also got to see “The Ellies” (aka Ellie, Lauren, Katherine…Jim was sick) while we were there, but I only got a pic of Katherine with Lucy Kate…you think I would get better about taking pictures!
This picture is pretty awesome, haha! Calvin was actually only going to “pet” her, but it looks like he’s about to punch her face :)
We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the house and playing “Thomas Train” with Calvin, but we did make it to the park on Sunday..

Cotton Candy
Our neighborhood had a family day party a couple of weeks ago, and Calvin tried cotton candy for the first time.
Impressed by my photoshop skills? Thought so.

He liked it so much that he’ll even eat it covered in dirt! Don’t worry, the side he’s eating from wasn’t dirty..
There was also a big water slide that Calvin love-hated..
Lucy Kate 4 Month Photos
That’s right, 4 months! This month Lucy Kate learned to roll both ways, making it fun to see where she ends up if you don’t look at her for a couple of minutes. Lately, she has been loving Calvin as he tries to make her laugh, which is really sweet. Unfortunately she hasn’t been sleeping as well as she was at night, but she’s still doing at least 10 hours, so I guess I shouldn’t complain :) She loves to smile, laugh, play with her toys and “talk”. She is also a mega socialite and gets pretty upset when she’s left alone, which will probably be a big problem! :)
