Lunsy's 50th

Yes you heard right, my father, Lloyd Lunsford Warner III is now half a century old!! EEK! I flew to Texas early for his big 50 Texas Hold 'Em Bash (which was super fun!) What did I give him for his birthday present you might ask? How about a grandbaby! Top that David & Laura :)

It was also the AI finale the day I flew in, so here's Kris' biggest supporters.
As some of you may know Fur Fur worked at a cake company for her last year at A&M. She got to decorate cakes like those Ace of Cakes people...pretty cool. So here are the cakes she made for Lunsford's party. The fam at the party. The night started with 3 tables of 10 players each, which went down to 2, which went down to 1. This is the final table of the evening. And yes that is Bethers and Lauren still in the game! And what's a birthday without going to CEC? (by the way, David was sporting the hunchback look)I had a great time in Houston, chilin with the fam. Now I'm just waiting for their visit for the first week in July!

Boy or Girl: we DON'T know

Ok so here's a little clarification for you guys on our "he" talk. We do not yet know the sex of the baby, and we won't know until Aug. or Sept. We just figure if we call it a he and it turns out to be a he we're set but if it turns out to be a she then she could be a tom boy. But if we call it a she and it turns out to be a he then he could be a sissy....and we don't want no sissys!

Paparazzi

According to her doctor, on December 10th, a small child will climb out of Stephanie's body and say hello to the world. That's right, Stephers is preggers!

Just went to the doctor for the first sonogram, here's the cool 3d picture of the baby. As you can see, he's covering his face as he'd rather not be photographed by the paparazzi. I mean, neither would I if I was only 4 inches long and naked.

And here's a bunch more pictures they took from various angles. Baby Hargrove was workin' that camera. We'll be posting lots as things progress. Also, if you go the HargroveBaby.com, it will take you to this blog and only show the baby posts. (That way you don't have to see the rest of the posts that nobody cares about or reads anyway.)

Party like it's Cinco de Mayo

Of course in honor of Mexico's defeat of the French at the Battle of Puebla we decided to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the Erwins' (which doubled as a going away party as Drew & Rache shipped out for their Austin summer the next day). And what's a fiesta without a pinata? Here's Jeni trying to wack the candy out for us (and she succeeded).
And here's a close up of the "Azetec God" or tiki guy.
And what do you do with a pinata when you're done? Burn it of course.Ok so after enjoying candy and fajitas we headed to William & Mary for Rachel to take care of some last minute business. Oh yeah, and she was April's Employee of the Month, way to go Rache! And of course the boys had to play a round of catan...or it wouldn't be a party. What a fun night! We are going to miss Drew & Rachel...they sure can throw a party :)

17 again...

Most of our guy friends around here are law students and it's finals time, so their wives have basically been single. Rache had the idea to see 17 Again, and of course I'm always up for some more Zac Efron. Last night we saw it at the new Movie Tavern with Laura & Jeni. And let me just tell you, it was awesome! I loved it :) It was super funny, and there was a tear jerking moment. It is definitely worth seeing.

Party with Fresh Prince in Bel Air

Last Friday, Luke, James and the other regional guys had an area meeting in Columbia, MD. So instead of Luke being gone for a night and driving all that way for nothing, we decided to make a weekend out of it and hang out with Drew & Stacey at their pad in Bel Air! The Pierces are also from Texas and Drew took Luke's job in Maryland about 8 months before we moved. They have a super cute townhome with a sweet home theater basement.

We got there late Thursday night, and Friday everyone had to go to work, so I spent the day shopping :) I got some super cute fabrics from Joann's. There isn't really anywhere great to find fabrics around Williamsburg, so I was super excited at the size and amount of fabrics Bel Air's Joann's had! Stacey got home early, so we headed to Michael's for some more craft shopping :) After the boys got home, we all went to eat at La Tolteca (which was good for northern mexican food) and saw State of Play (which was pretty good).

Saturday, we ate Five Guys and hung out outside trying to make their wennie dog Jasmine do tricks to get cheese:
We also played disc golf where Drew kicked our butts. Here's some good actions shots of the group:
That night we watch The Day the Earth Stood Still (which was kind of lame, the only thing good was Will Smith's kid's acting) and of course taught them the train game.

Sunday, we went to their church where Drew & Stacey are worship leaders (man could they sing) and ended the day at Chipotle!! I always have to load up on Chipotle if we go out of town (Williamsburg is supposed to get one at the end of the year).

Anyway, we had a great time with them and can't wait until they come to our neck of the woods!

Hannah Tanna

Rache & I went to see Hannah Montana: The Movie tonight and it was AWESOME!!!!! Don't pay even a hint of attention to its rating on imdb. I loved it!!
