Soccer Practice

Calvin started soccer practice on Thursday.  I think he’s gonna like it!

Fixin the Truck

Calvin got to work with the big boys on daddy’s truck.

Oh yeah, Lucy Kate was there too…her job was to look cute :)

Calvin Swimming

Calvin loves, and I mean LOVES, to go swimming, and he’s getting pretty good at it.  A little too brave for me sometimes :)

Cow Appreciation Day

Friday was Cow Day at Chick-Fil-A, so we put on our spots and headed out to get our free food!

As you can tell, it was pretty sunny and Calvin couldn’t handle it.  I don’t blame him, it was hurting my eyes too!

4th of July

This July 4th, MawMaw and PawPaw came to visit with us.  Our neighborhood hosts a parade that begins right at our driveway and ends 1/2 mile later at the pool.  So we figured we’d participate b/c it literally started at our house :)

At the end of the parade, HEB had set up hot dogs, chips, drinks and ice-cream!

As you can see from her face, Lucy Kate loved the dog and food :)

This was one of her first ice-cream attempts that she actually liked!  Usually she thinks it’s too cold, but it hit the spot on a hot day!

That night we headed out to the Leander Liberty Fest where they had bounce houses, food, a band and of course fireworks!  Calvin stood in line the whole time to enjoy the bounce house obstacle course.  It was literally his turn when they started counting down for the fireworks, but he had waited so patiently that he decided to still give it a go.
